MIPs Incentivized Program

The Migration Infrastructure Providers (MIPs) program bootstraps Indexers to add support for new chains on the decentralized network, enabling migration of multi-chain subgraphs.

It is designed to encourage participation and contribution from the community, including infrastructure providers, developers, and other stakeholders. The program is centered around Migration Infrastructure Providers (MIPs), which are entities that provide indexing, query processing, and data storage services to The Graph network. The goal of the MIPs program is to ensure that The Graph ecosystem remains robust, secure, and decentralized. To achieve this, participants are required to meet certain technical and operational standards. These include maintaining high uptime and reliability, providing secure and scalable services, and actively participating in community initiatives. In return for meeting these standards, MIPs can earn rewards in the form of GRT tokens, which can be used to cover operational costs and invest in further infrastructure development.
